Of Brockton, November 10, 2007, Christine M. (Carella) Astrofsky, 42 years. Wife of the late Richard Astrofsky. Devoted mother of Richard and Jacob Astrofsky, and loving sister of Paul McCauley of Brockton, Michael Carella of Dorchester, Charles Bradford of Brockton, Darlene Bradford of So. Weymouth, Pamela Bradford ofDorchester, and Robert Stuart of Revere. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, and her husband’s parents Stephen and Virginia Astrofsky of Canton. This has been my month so far (on top of being left alone, having my car stop working, and getting a parking ticket). Death, death, death. Not to mention tons of anniversaries of deaths are in November too (and October 31). My other great uncle, Duke, died five years ago on Halloween. Christine Astrofsky's husband, Richard, died a few years ago in November (their kids lost both of their parents within a few years). My mother's husband's father died a long time ago in November and his cousin died on Thanksgiving a few years ago as well. Fun, huh? Not quite.

This isn't really an update, but I will be doing one of those soon. I have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow to get ready for the funeral (I'm babysitting Christine's sons and my baby sister), so I should get to bed. Just wanted to update you on how life was going... as you can see, not so well.
