Well, first semester is over... and I'm actually kind of melancholy about it. Well, about Beatles class, but I get to see Gallant in a month anyway. His final was a take home and I sent it to him last night - I think I did pretty well on it. I still owe him a little work but I'll get it to him ASAP. I'm really glad he's teaching 102 next semester - I'm looking forward to him teaching it with the same passion that he taught SF132 with. Actually, thinking back, I'm REALLY glad first semester is over. It was a really bad one for me, just with a lot of stuff going on at home and such. I can't wait for Christmas and just to have more time for myself. If I were still in high school, I'd be anticipating the days until my week long Christmas break. But now I have a whole MONTH off! It's going to be crazy.
My best friend is coming home on Monday, so I'm glad about that. She wants us to go Christmas shopping, but I don't have the MONEY to go Christmas shopping! Not to mention every dime that I'm getting is going towards getting my car fixed (no, it's still not fixed!). That's another thing that I like about the semester ending - no more trekking to the train station in the ice and snow. It stinks.
Tomorrow I have two finals - Math and Communication. I'm kind of worried about both but we get to bring in study sheets, so I'm glad about that. I'm making mine up now. I also need to prepare for my presentation for SU101 on Wednesday and then after that I'm free! I'm meeting one of my best friends afterwards - I haven't seen him in forever, so I'm excited about that. He's pretty much the only person I really talk to anymore - I've become really distant from a LOT of my friends. Maybe Christmas break we can all get together again or something. I'm supposed to be going back to my high school on the 21st, but without a car that might not be happening. =/
I'm so excited for Christmas! We got our Christmas tree yesterday and I can't wait until it's all decorated and the gifts are underneath it. I'm finally getting a new phone for Christmas after three years of having the same phone! Usually I'm not picky, but my phone is falling apart! I can't wait to get it.
I should probably get back to studying for finals. I'll be blogging more over break! :D
